5 Stories: Sunderland

‘5 Stories: Sunderland’ was my MA Design project where I animated the personal record of the lives and people who live in Sunderland, and the places that have played the biggest impact on their lives throughout the last five decades.

The initial idea was to create an interactive website showing five maps of Sunderland from the 1950s - 1990s, with each decade having one main animation to bring together 10 years of memories. I was able to complete all 5 maps and accompanying animations, with each map showing the progression of the city through illustration and animation.
